As our sons prepare for another NBA season, we briefly reflect on some of the moments we've shared serving our communities with them.
The many smiling faces made all of the planning and volunteer efforts worthwhile.
FAM member Rod Ivey and his son Royal Ivey paid a "Royal Visit" back to the old neighborhood to host a Life and Basketball skills clinic. Numerous community members and organizations expressed support of the Ivey family.
The atmosphere was electric... as young people got an opportunity to rub shoulders with a local hero.
The kids displayed great behavior and were encouraged to do the same at home and at school.
The theme for this event was "Defend Your Dream", which is a powerful message for so many young people who have difficult challenges to overcome.
The FAM would like to thank brother Rod Ivey and his sons for their contribution to our
DADs Volunteer'n program.
