A mission that calls for "Raising Fathers" in a country that sends so many children home to single mothers. Their 8 hour meeting signified that this was not going to be an effortless journey; nor would it be easy to inspire a nation of disengaged and distant dads to consider reconnecting with their children.
But, what makes The F.A.M. (Fathers and Men of Professional Basketball Players) so unique is their parental wisdom, their collective experiences and the fact that their sons and daughters are some of the biggest names in the pro basketball. The FAM has come together to leverage their influence as role models and impact fatherless children across this country in a meaningful way.
Understanding the urgency, the dads in attendance discussed activating the first of their (3) services:

Under each of their service brands, the organization will offer (3) types of community outreach.
DADs Talk'n
- Just Ask Dads youth forums will be hosted in NBA cities and also during NBA All Star weekends
- Just Ask Dads fatherhood speakers and Q&A panelists will be available in years to come
- Just Ask Dads blog will display some of the questions emailed from youth around the country
